About Me
This is me, my name is Renae Cambra. For starters, I am a wife, a mother,
a Registered Nurse, and an artist. This is my husband, Miguel.
I have two beautiful little boys, Seth and Adrian
They are my life, my love and my heart. They are truly the inspiration in everything I do.
I've been working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for over 8 years now, and I love my job. In fact, I would have to say that my boys are my first love, and my job is my second. I take care of the most fragile and helpless little creatures on this earth. Each day I go to work, I take care of itty bitty premature babies and I watch them grow. It's amazing to know that I was able to play a part in the beginning of such precious lives.
My third love, is sculpting. Ohhh... sculpting. It's funny, I discovered it about 4 years ago, by chance. I've always had a huge devotion to fantasy and faeries, and one day I was browsing through ebay looking at all of this faerie stuff, and came across a sculpture. It was gorgeous. Stunning. Magnificent! I was in awe. So in awe, that the very next day I went to the nearest craft store to buy this mysterious 'stuff' called Polymer clay! I found some, it was called super sculpey! And within the first 24 hours I had a face! OH MY I made a face!! Granted, it was a god awful ugly little creation, but sure enough, it was a face!!!
Since then, I've been fortunate enough to uncover my hidden talent of creating beautiful works of art. Mainly I've worked with fantasy figures, faeries to say the least. But, just recently I've started experimenting with sculpting babies, which has opened up a whole new realm of possibilities! I'm so excited, I love it!!!
